Veterinarian
Originally from Malibu, California, Dr. Justin Blake has been practicing small animal medicine in the Mid-Coast area since 2001.
Dr. Ken Newman
Veterinarian
Dr. Ken Newman graduated from the Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine in 1979. Dr. Ken owned 2 animal hospitals in Florida but always dreamed of living in Maine where his wife Heidi spent her childhood. The Newman’s moved to Camden in 2022 and live with their son, Dylan, Labrador Retriever, Willow, and Long Haired Chihuahua Daisy. He has worked at All Creatures Veterinary Hospital for the last 4 and 1/ 2 years. Dr.Ken has a published memoir, Meet Me at the Rainbow Bridge, where he tells his story of the importance of pets in his life and makes an appeal that our pets should be more than chattel property. Dr Ken can be found at the Camden dog park on his mornings off. His hobbies include boating, fishing, hiking and cooking. Dr Ken’s clinical interests include internal medicine,cardiology, dermatology and geriatrics.
